lake strobel in both the lake and the river.

What are your favorite travel destinations? What’s on the bucket list?

My favorite travel destinations are Bolivia, Patagonia, Mexico. My bucket list would have to be the Seychelles for its Giant Trevally on the fly.

My go to fly would be the prince nymph and a balance leach.

Other than fly tackle, what piece of gear do you find indispensable?

A good set of waders, good clothing and a net.

My favorite thing about guiding is:

The interaction with new people, to hear about there experiences and
personal stories and to make sure they have a great experience.

From the angler’s point of view, what do you see as the main value of going on a guided trip?

It helps to have a guide that knows the water very well and shortens the learning curve and to have a good experience.

What can new fishermen expect to get out of a guided trip? My favorite thing to teach a client is:

They will learn how to fish different bodies of water and increase his knowledge on a guided trip ,the most fun is teaching people how to fish mice and dry flies.

What’s your ideal lunch when on the water? What do you actually pack?

The steak roll with good argentine beef and fresh rolls. Always drinks and fresh steak rolls and some chocolate.

What fly fishing blogs/magazines do you read regularly?

The Fly Fisherman and the Drake magazines.

When I’m not fishing you’ll find me....

You willfind me climbing mountains and riding dirt bikes.
